Read a summary before anyone else does.

Every summary is checked against the original document by a person before it publishes. Right now that person is always the same one, which is the part of PorchLite most likely to break first.

Before you spend time on this: the role is unpaid, and it stays unpaid. There's a sample task and a conversation before anyone is approved. Reviewing is careful, unglamorous reading — a few items at a time, checking a summary says what the document says and nothing more.

You don't have to live in a city PorchLite covers.

An honest small number is more useful than an optimistic large one.

Not required. Noticing when a sentence is doing something sneaky is the actual skill.

A person reads every application. You'll hear back either way, though it may take a few days.
